Enable or Disable SDK client

To disable a client ID used as part of SDK calls in the RelFast portal, follow the step-by-step instructions below. Please make sure that you have the necessary permissions ("Read Application" and "Environment Specific Read Configuration Value") to perform this operation.

  1. Open your web browser and go to the portal:

  2. Log in to the portal using your credentials to access your account.

  3. After logging in, find and click on the "Applications" tab in the left navigation bar. This will take you to the section where you can manage your applications.

  4. Use the search option to find the specific application for which you want to disable a client ID. Once you find the application, click on the "SDK/API client access" button associated with that application.

  5. After clicking on the "SDK/API client access" button, you will be prompted to select the environment for which you want to manage the client IDs.

  6. Select the desired environment from the drop-down list.

  7. In the list of client IDs for the selected environment, locate the client ID that you want to disable.

  8. Use the toggle switch next to the client ID to enable or disable it. If the toggle switch is in the "enabled" position, click on it to move it to the "disabled" position.

  9. When a client ID is disabled, it will start using the fallback configurations configured in the code. This means that the application associated with the disabled client ID will no longer receive specific configurations for that environment and will fallback to default values or other configurations defined in the code.

  10. If you ever need to enable a previously disabled client ID, you can use the same process. Locate the disabled client ID, and use the toggle switch to move it back to the "enabled" position.

  11. In the "Environments" dropdown, you will only see the environment types that you have access to. This ensures that you can only manage client IDs for environments that you are allowed to access.

By following these instructions, you can disable a client ID used as part of SDK calls for the specific application and environment type in the RelFast portal. Remember that disabling a client ID will affect the configurations received by the associated application, and it will fallback to other configured values or defaults.
